From the Renaissance of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel to Rembrandt’s great baroque portraits, join us on a cinematic journey as we view and discuss the art and architecture of the world’s great cultures.

Explore the basics of art: colour, design, paints, brushes, pencils, and surfaces. Work on mini-projects then a final all-encompassing project. The class is informal, hands-on, and interactive.

Rug Hooking, Traditional
Learn the old-fashioned form of rug hooking (not latch hooking). Create images and designs (Primitive, Pictorials, Orientals and 3D hooking) through needlework and shading and dying materials. Materials and designs can be ordered through the instructor.
